Illustration work is something I am asked to do on occasion. These are illustrations I created for Paleo Magazine in collaboration with Kate Miller Design on Layout.
A brand's identity is critical to connecting to their target audience. I was brought in by Frogger Golf to re-establish their Brand Identity back to the "core" values of the company. The goal was to relay that relationship to the consumer who wants all the "accessories" of the PGA tour, without the price.
Responsive Email Design
Responsive Email Design is the utmost important line of communication in today's mobile experience. I have had the opportunity to design email templates for properties such as Hanua Kai Resort, Pinehurst, Balboa Bay Resort and Solage Calistoga. Winery estate, Schramsberg & Davies and Realator, Burr White Reality. As well as The National Golf Federation, Golfweek and Frogger Golf.
Product Label Design
Product labels are a new expression of direct marketing that has no limits. You want to engage the consumer to pick the product up and telling a story visually is a challenging aspect of what I do. This was a concept design for a brewery that wanted to use typography as the visual.
Typography is one of my favorite aspects of Graphic Design. This is a mailer that I designed for the Portland Bureau of Transportation to get commuters to be more conscious about the benefits of reducing our carbon footprint on our environment.
Product Packaging Design
One of the "Latch-It" product packaging designs I have created for Frogger Golf. It is part of the new "Latch-It" magnetic technology product line and part of the re-branding of Frogger Golf. The graphic insert shows how the dongle on the phone cradle actually punches through the back of the packaging.
Designing digital ad campaigns is something I enjoy doing. The ideal tactic is a soft approach that evolves, reaching several audiences and getting them to your website.
Frogger Golf will launch a new line of Hybrid and Ultralight golf bags in 2017. I designed the hang tags that were based on the individual Eco-System frog for each product.
Moving from Los Angeles to Portland was a big transition. I found myself influenced by my surroundings which I began to log. This book was inspired by those I encountered. All photography was shot with an iPhone.
Being a Graphic Designer, is being a story teller in some sense. It is my job to take a product or concept and visually tell a story that connects the brand to the consumer. It's about building an relationship between that identity and the target audience.
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a disease of the central nervous system. It is completely unpredictable, and disruptive by disabling the very individuals who are diagnosed. My life has been personally touched by this disease and the very loved one's who care for their family members. As a daughter of a mother who battled this disease I had a personal story to tell. This is not my mother's story, but it is a story of a woman who represents the incredible destruction that MS can cause. I was fortunate to be asked by the National MS Society to be apart of a national campaign "I am not MS" that told these stories visually.
Concept design is exciting to work with. When a client comes to me and gives me a name and product to run with, often times I find myself designing in a totally different direction than I was given.
Web Ads are a direct marketing connection between the brand and the user. I have created web ads for CNN.com,Google, Golfweek, Sports Illustrated Golf andPGA.com.
Before my career began in Graphic Design, I worked in Product Development for the Fashion Design Industry. This experience inspired me to create a tote bag collection that was entirely sourced from organic cotton made in the U.S.A. I wanted to create an incredibly strong, sustainable product, that was free of synthetic materials. All fabric labels, and textile designs were created by me.
Branding comes in different aspects that meet each client's needs. Initially, I am taking ideas and some visuals that ultimately need to come together to tell the story of that brand.
